Yes, the space is now empty, Greg, but Springfield Contemporary Theatre is alive and embarking on a new season.
It has moved. The new location is 2025 E. Chestnut Expressway, which is at the intersection of East Chestnut Expressway and East Pythian Street. It s in a large building suites C and D, facing Pythian called Chestnut Corners.
When I went there Monday to take a photo there was a notice on the door announcing auditions tonight 6:30 p.m. for Desperate Measures, a musical comedy.
