An historic maltings building which was once at the heart of Ipswich s lively night life before being transformed into plush offices is three quarters let.
The refurbishment and redevelopment of The Maltings building in the heart of Ipswich forms part of a regeneration of Princes Street and the riverside area leading to the Waterfront.
Agent Penn Commercial has now secured a new tenant Miller Insurance Services LLP on a five-year lease for the 4,500sq ft ground floor which comes with seven parking spaces.
The firm will be moving from its present home in the Willis Towers Watson Building in the town’s Friars Street to take up the new space.

Businesses are racing to snap up new commercial units on a soon-to-be-finished Ipswich scheme - and developers expect the Freeport East project to increase demand.
Penn Commercial is working with Northwood Urban Logistics and joint agent JLL on a prestigious new trade and logistics development at ‘Crane Park’, on the site of the former Crane factory at Ravenswood.
The site - next to John Lewis and Waitrose - comprises 19 modern, eco-friendly warehouse units, four of which are under offer and one already let.

A “prime” site inside what could become an East Anglian freeport is being offered up for sale.
The 8.2 acre Stanton Europark site at Harwich has been put on the market with a freehold price tag of £1.5m.
Agents Penn Commercial say the development site next to Harwich International Port could find itself inside an area with strong potential for economic growth.
The area designated for a potential freeport comprising two undeveloped lots of green field land is being offered with vacant possession and on an unconditional basis.
