Real crime fans are in for a treat this Sunday when Sky launches a brand Original series called Six Silent Killings: Ireland’s Vanishing Triangle.

This year marked the 30th anniversary of the disappearance of Annie McCarrick, the young American woman who moved to Ireland in January 1993, just months before she went missing.

Her disappearance, which for decades remained a missing-persons case, was upgraded to murder earlier this year.

What to Watch this week: 'The Marvels' and 'The Killer' hit theaters. Plus, 'The Santa Clauses' is back, 'Big Brother 25' comes to an end, and more picks.

A school trip to Ireland was enough to convince a teenage Annie McCarrick: she had to move there. And so, after returning to her native New York to finish her studies, she was good to her word, moving to Sandymount, south Dublin, in early 1993.
