2016 Maria Martinez graduated from MSc Aerospace Materials in 2016 and currently works as a Design Engineer at General Electric Mexico What are your main responsibilities in your current role? As program Leader for the Variable Geometry (VG) system in CT7/T700 Engine programs, I m often resolving different projects for the VG system components for controlling compliance on safety, quality and design intent of parts. Also, these projects involve diagnosing and advancing the implementation of manufacturing/field lessons learned. Currently I m working from home and my day starts with a morning routine that helps me to list the goals for the day, exercise and prepare to tackle the agenda. Then I usually plan around the meetings/calls I have to attend, making sure I get the most done. I take breaks for coffee and lunch. By the end of the day I clean the apartment, and read a bit.
