During todays hearing for natalie keepers, a judge denied the 19 year old bond. Prosecutors reveal more information about the events that led Nicole Lovells murder. This, as the 13 year olds family and friends laid her to rest today in blacksburg. It was a day of emotional goodbyes. And also an emotional day in court. As the victims family listened to the person accused of plotting their daughters death, testify on her own behalf. Natalie keepers told the judge she had been cutting her self since 8th grade, and sought counseling for depression and suicidal thoughts. As wfxrs charlie keepers plea for a bond the judge denied the request. Natalie keepers sat in court with her face down and sometimes crying. Tonight flooding from the rising Roanoke River has shut down a bridge in salem. Mill lane near West Riverside drive is closed. And water is washing up onto the bridge. Police have set up a detour. And lick run creek in roanoke is continuing to rise as well. Rising waters from the creek have flooded the lick run greenway before at Brown Robertson park. The greenway has not flooded yet but the waters still remain high. And even thought flooding will be a concern for the next few days there is an immediate threat.
