On Friday, Detroit’s “Golden Girl” Lilith Von Tap hosted a first-anniversary burlesque bash at Planet Ant Theatre in Hamtramck. “Lilith’s Big Ol’ Golden Show” featured acts by Sweet Handsome Two Heart, Tommy Gun, Josephine Shaker, and Veronica Lockhart, and comedy from Johanna Medranda. Both crowd and performers were enthusiastic (and then some) to get down and shake it up. (Tassels and all!) Burlesque wasn’t limited to the stage though, with audience members including Detroit performers such as Eartha Kitten, Marina Casanova, and Ginger Halloway.
