Boity and her mom Modiehi Thulo won a special celebrity episode on eTV’s Sanlam Moola-Money Family Game show and selected the gender-based violence (GBV) organisation because it is a ‘powerful charity that isn’t as well-known as many other bigger ones’.The Thulos faced off for charity on the premiere a few weeks ago, beating real estate mogul and TV host TT Mbha and his wife, Esperanca to the prize.

The pair have continuously teased on Instagram that their’s may be something more than a friendship. The latest post may just confirm this. Jeftha, an actor on M-Net’s telenovela Legacy SA, posted an advertising campaign for a skincare brand. Again, another social media post that doesn’t have much to it, but Boity jokingly commented she is up in arms that Jeftha didn’t credit the photographer, herself. Take a look:

Boity donates R50K to support victims of gender-based violence Share Rapper Boity Thulo has put her money where her mouth is by donating R50 000 to an abuse shelter. The star, who is vocal about her thoughts on gender-based violence (GBV) and what needs to be done to stop it, made the donation this week. At the handover ceremony on Thursday, Boity and her mom, Modiehi Thulo, selected the Vhathu Vhothe Abuse Centre to donate the R50 000. Their donation goes towards victim empowerment programmes with a focus on strengthening the human rights of both women and children. Boity and her mother took first place in the Sanlam Moola-Money Family Game Show on e.tv earlier this year where they won the cash prize and opted to donate it.
