this crash site is in the small town of nightson. the train collided with the trailer after 7:00 this evening, amtrak 718 from oakland to stockton to bakersfield. remarkably, both the truck driver and his passenger were not injured. of the 204 passengers reported on the train, at least 35 of them are being treated for minor to moderate injuries. once again, no serious injuries as far as we know. it s still an active scene as you can see from our video on the site and transportation is being arranged for passengers to return to oakland. it was panic. everyone is wondering what s going on, what s going on. no one heard anything for about 10, 15 minutes when they announced it on the speakers. so we started seeing all the ambulances. we kind of panicked first, but we managed to get through. reporter: have you heard about other passengers? i m not sure. it was all frantic and everything shut off, so we grabbed our stuff and just came out. everything at this point has bee
isolated thunderstorms through tonight and also those winds at times 15 to 30 miles an hour. th all of our wet weather, four storms in seven days, that has all had to head somewhere and it has pushed from the bay area down into los angeles and that s where flood warnings continue to be an issue in los angeles. the rain is going to head there for wednesday. let s get a look at this video here in san diego, flooding is one of the primary issues. the water going up to the wheel wells in some of these cars, some of these drivers really taking risks by driving through, that s something you should never attempt to do. and in los angeles, mudslide problems in the hills just outside of the los angeles where flood warnings remain in effect. all of those fire burn areas that they have had over the past two years or so, now causing problems with this latest wet weather. i ll be tracking a christmas day storm coming up in minutes. so if you are expecting family for the holidays, good l
