A seventh Excel Center adult charter high school has the green light to open in Indianapolis, and it’s hoping to open in a school that Indianapolis Public Schools will close at the end of this school year.
The Indianapolis Public Schools district will close at least six facilities this spring, making them up for grabs by charter schools. But IPS hasnt filed that information with the state, as required by law. The Indiana Charter School Network recently filed a complaint against IPS to the state attorney generals office.
