On Jan. 11 at 3:16 p.m., a 45-year-old Twin Valley man suffered an apparent drug overdose. First responders performed CPR on the man upon arrival at the scene.
About seven to eight people were involved in a bar fight at the Holiday Inn Lakefront in Detroit Lakes early Sunday morning, according to an emergency dispatch report. Three individuals were trespassed from the hotel and a 37-year-old Detroit Lakes man was arrested for possible DWI.
An intoxicated man threw a pumpkin through the window of a residence causing minor injuries to the caller from shattered glass, according to a Becker County emergency dispatch report. The suspect fled the scene on foot before law enforcement arrived. While police were talking to the caller, a 30-year-old Red Lake man returned to the residence and was arrested.
On March 31, a 3-year-old Callaway girl was struck by a vehicle while riding her bike and transported to a nearby medical clinic for treatment with unknown injuries. The girl was wearing a helmet. The driver of the vehicle, a 58-year-old Callaway woman, was arrested at the scene.
