They were originally engineered for a 14-day lunar mission

India was the first to land near the lunar south pole, but it was always unlikely that its spacecraft could withstand the moon's elements.

The Indian Space Research Organization (Isro) is building its knowledge of missions that could bring back samples to Earth, after the success of Chandrayaan-3.

ISRO Chairman S Somanath claimed that the lunar soil is not acting dusty, but is lumpy. This means something is binding the soil

The findings from Chandrayaan-3, particularly the successful hop experiment, will be the basis of future lunar missions, an Isro official said

Chandrayaan 3 accomplished most tasks on lunar exploration but could not imprint Indian emblem, ISROs logo clearly on lunar surface by Pragyan Rovers wheel.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) faces a communication challenge as it has been unable to establish contact with the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover of the Chandrayaan-3 mission.

Indias space agency, ISRO, is developing missions to return samples from the Moon to Earth. The recent successful hop experiment by the Vikram lander will inform future lunar missions. ISRO is also collaborating with Japan on the Lunar Polar Exploration project to explore the Moon for water and other resources. | Latest News India

ISRO is attempting to revive the Chandrayaan-3s Vikram lander and rover, which have been in sleep mode for almost two weeks. Nilesh M Desai, Director of the Space Applications Centre, stated that the revival of the lander and rover is automatic and dependent on solar power. So far, no signals have been received, but efforts to establish contact are ongoing.
