From the Archives, 1970: Union pickets Glebe home for aged
50 years ago, the fight over the Glebe Home for Aged Men spilled into the streets and on to the front page. Those involved would find themselves in the public eye for decades to come.

Building union pickets last night mounted a patrol outside the former Glebe Home for Aged Men now known as Rosebank after Leichhardt Council seized the building yesterday and forcibly evicted the former manager and matron.
