The opening ceremony heard remarks from a number of persons, who not only welcomed patrons but also put persons’ minds at ease that the activity was a safe one to attend, with health protocols having been established throughout the venue.  Patrons were urged to enjoy the programmes and the occasion.

Vincentian students receive certificates for passing Spanish language courses DR RALPH Gonsalves with the students who received their certificates after passing the Spanish language courses Social Share Forty Vincentian students last week received certificates for passing Spanish language courses at levels 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 7, and have now advanced to the next level of learning the language and the Afro-Latin American and Caribbean culture. The students received their certificates on Thursday, December 10, at a ceremony held to mark the 190th anniversary of the last Proclamation of the Liberator Simón Bolívar (December 10, 1830) and the 8th anniversary of the Last Proclamation of Commander Hugo Chávez (December 8, 2012).
