The 150 crore project will come up on the lines of KVT Dham VARANASI: Union home minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone of the Rs 150 crore Vindhyachal Corridor Project in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Mirzapur on August 1. Talking to TOI on Tuesday, divisional commissioner of Mirzapur Yogeshwar Ram Mishra said, “As per the tentative programme received, the Union home minister will be in Vindhyachal on August 1 to lay the foundation stone of the ambitious Vindhyachal Corridor Project. The CM will be present along with him. Till then, the final design of the proposed corridor will also be finalised.”

Supreme Court issues yet another notice to makers of 'Mirzapur' Earlier, a Mirzapur resident had filed a complaint against the web series Mirzapur and Amazon Prime for maligning the image of his native place in UP. Mirzapur poster Updated: Feb 5, 2021, 09:29 PM IST After taking cognizance of a plea, the Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the makers -- director and producer -- of web series 'Mirzapur' seeking a reply. The plea was filed by an advocate of the apex court -- Rudra Vikram Singh -- who also happens to be a native of the district. The date for the hearing is set for March 8.
