President in a way that few others are, if no one else is. but i have to ask, as someone who was lead counsel for donald trumps first impeachment, what sorts of protocols are traditionally in place for the kind of material that we are talking about, vis-à-vis the security footage on january six? no as we focus on this more broadly here -- the idea that the speaker of the house has handed over all of this footage to a fox news host seems unprecedented in american history, but i also i think just...

Showing up is that if mike pence is going to litigate his subpoena, and its going to drag on and on, even if it is a losing cause, it would delay significantly. ivanka trump was there for and listening into donald trumps conversations with mike pence. the special counsel can get some of that information from other witnesses including ivanka trump. >> she was in the room. a confidant of the president in a way that few others are, if no one else is, but i have to ask is somebody who is lead counse...

Last year. more americans moved to florida than any other state. you know crime is pushing people out of new york city. floridas crime rate is at a 50-year low. maybe its you who can learn from ron desantis. pete hegseth, co-host of "fox & friends" weekend. if you didnt have your twitter machine on you would have missed that. i think there was smoke coming out of it. >> its true. obviously i agree with the desantis characterization of this. vis-a-vis eric adams and how he characterizes abortion ...

And all bets were off and since then weve seen china resume its intellectual property theft, although its gone pretty far under ground. i think the balloon really forced this issue back into the open, and the question is what will we do beyond blacklisting some of the aerospace companies and technology companies that went into chinas surveillance operation, vis-a-vis the balloon. >> yeah. those are three companies and weve intiuted export controls and those trump tariffs are in place as well. ni...

The description of chinese cyber threats are theyre not as sophisticated as russia, but theyre certainly brazen in these efforts and occasionally sloppy, but effective. over ten years ago they were hitting us with spear phishing e-mails and if you knew what to look for you could catch them and oftentimes they were just as effective and the key scriptor of chinese operations was that they were brazen. they didnt bother to hide these efforts and the same is true with these balloons. clearly, someo...

Program? >> i think this is the most visible aspect of an ongoing threat that i and others who have been covering cyber ssecury and cyber threats for a decade. it had a u.s. response and now we hear china is calling this hysterical and theyre calling it an overreaction and maintaining it was a weather balloon and clearly it was surveillance operation. the key thing to remember is that china has been hacking our intellectual property, personal data and government agencies and workers for more tha...

His appeal for the nomination, potentially, on the idea that he was trumps vice president. he talked often about the trump pence agenda, and wants to associate himself a lot with donald trump, but at the same time, he wants to present him as risky, it is a really difficult high-wire to walk it will be interesting to see if he can pull it off. but upsetting the trump base as being involved in this subpoena is usually not a good starting place. >> no, its not, and then simultaneously, eugene, we h...
