The county pleads with the public to follow covid19related rules and restrictions including the new 14day mandatory travel quarantine. Abc 7 News Reporter chris ngueyn has the story. Reporter the coronavirus rages on, a grim assessment this afternoon, hospitals in the areas of the county hit hardist by covid19 are nearing capacity as administrators scramble to ensure they have enough beds. More specifically the hospitals serving East San Jose collectively have less than a dozen icu beds available. Hospitals throughout the county are working together engaging in phone calls at least daily to redistribute patients as needed to ensure that we are continuing to provide safe and high quality care. The lunch rush has slowed a bit during the pandemic. Owner david getting a boost from a donor. Going day by day, wondering how you are going to make rent, somebody comes with a check for 1,500 out of just the kindness of his heart, thats something very amazing. It is one of 16 downtown restaurants gifted money from a program called meals to martinez. I think a lot of people when they hear about this, it doesnt make sense to them, they feel it is too good to be true. The local attorney donated 30,000 from the restaurants to the law offices with the help of the nonprofit main street martinez, the meal program is giving out 600 meal vouchers to people in need redeemable at one of the 16 re

This fire on a Sonoma County hillside moved quickly before crews got it under control. But now there is increasing concern over the potential for more of the same.
