National Youth Day observed in Ooty Udhagamandalam: Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, which is commemorated as National Youth Day, was observed with a special prayer at the cemetery of John Josaiah Goodwin, who was Vivekananda’s stenographer, on Friday. The prayer was jointly organized by MANAS, a social service organization and Ramakrishna Mutt, and was attended by school students, teachers, and representatives from various mutts.
