folks. good to be back after a week off. i start tonight with the question where s the center? what is the center? what is the center position on income inequality. what is the center position on the vulture chart? identity politics is going to destroy the democrats if they go down that road. what they have to do is listen to some of the candidates out there who are talking about the populist issues about where is the country. i come to washington today for a number of reasons. and i m greeted by politico. and it says sanders s senate colleagues stunned by his rapid assent. why? it seems to me that all the things that hillary clinton is talking about, all the things that bernie sanders is talking about are pretty close. and yet there seems to be this
the roof while of course middle class wages have flatlined. why is that? the reason the vulture chart exists because of the attack on unions and workers in the country which has been effective. unions are the back bone of america and give a voice to worker who s don t have one. this would have been the case in the situation with home care providers. unions keep workers safe and wages competitive. as union membership drops, so does the share of middle class income in this country. since the early 1970s, union member shl has decreased dramatically. the conservatives are winning this battle, folks. there s a coordinated right wing attack to move that chart even lower. for republicans, it s all about political power. and of course it s about the money. if republicans can kill unions there will be fewer democratic voters, it s a fact. this is the mission of the conservative movement in the country, destroy the infrastukt tour of the democratic base. before the 2012 election, karl
them for funding welfare for everybody. a half of federal tax revenues go to entitlements. these are redistribution of wealth. well, i m ready to rain on brian fisher s parade. here our here s our vulture chart. tax rates aren t about resentment. they re about a fairness. brian fisher wants low income americans to kiss the ground wealthy americans walk on. the rich don t want to walk on the ground. they want to walk on the backs of average americans. brian fisher is filled with so much hot air and hate we could put him in a macy s parade. if he believes we ll throw him one, he can keep pretending. [ girl ] my mom, she makes underwater fans that are powered by the moon. she can print amazing things, right from her computer.
tax dollars, as in subsidies go to oil companies? what does that mean? i don t think he knows what it means. tough talk by rand paul. always plays well in kentucky. but republican policies speak for themselves. this is on the bottom line here, folks, there s not one single proposal from republicans to address income inequality in this country. the vulture chart is a direct result of so-called trickle down economics, which have been around for a long time. this chart is a direct result of republican policies. president obama is trying to fix the income inequality and be fair to workers in this country. it s hard to deal with republicans when all they want to do is instruct the president every step of the way. here comes congresswoman marsha blackburn. she s got all the answers. she also spoke at saturday s event. so she decided to attack the president for using executive orders. barack obama promised you that he was going to rein in
brutal stew that beats up the working people. isn t this budget really steroids or fuel on the fire for vulture chart, that this would separate income inequality far beyond what we have right now? this budget is inherently immoral. the founding fathers who were extremely concerned that a business aristocracy would ruin or democracy would be absolutely appalled. and you know what, if they just cut in half the amount they spend buying stock back, they could raise the workers wages and get them out of having food stamps. and they re terribly against the employees organizing. mr. greenwalt, you have done some work on this about how they intimidate, how they move people out. and there have been some demonstrations around the country. and i think as this story gets out there and compare to the budget, there is no turning back with these folks, is there. no, there isn t.
