29-year-old man pulled from water near Wachusett Reservoir Dam in Clinton dies after he was possibly there to go fishing

A 29-year-old man pulled from the water near the Wachusett Reservoir Dam in Clinton Friday has died, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Two state Department of Conservation & Recreation rangers saw a man face down in a few feet of water in the Lancaster Millpond, a body of water next to the dam, around 7:45 p.m. Friday.
“The Rangers removed the man from the water and performed CPR and administered an AED in an attempt to resuscitate the man,” state police said. “The man was transported to Clinton Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.”
