Mr Wadata Bodinga, the Director, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Directorate of Road Transport Services (DRTS), says it has recovered more than 7,000 motorcycles stolen from the directorate during #End SARS protest.
Bodinga said during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday that the motorcycles were those seized within Abuja for illegal operation.
He said the hoodlums, however, bugled and looted seized motorcycles from DRTS Auto Pound in Gosa area of the territory during the protest.
An auto pound is used to store vehicles that have been impounded, used in a commission of a crime, involved in an accident and stolen vehicles, among others.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), in collaboration with security agencies, have deployed about 100 personnel to arrest traffic flow violators.
Mr Wadata Bodinga, Director, Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS) in the FCTA, stated this on Monday during an inspection visit to a mobile court set up to prosecute traffic offenders in the FCT.
The Streetjournal reports that the Minister of FCT, Muhammad Bello, on Feb.26 flagged-off a ministerial action against traffic violation.
The ministerial taskforce team comprises of men of the Nigeria Police Force, Directorate of Road Traffic Services, Federal Road Safety Corps and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
