Magic rising star Paolo Banchero is the Rookie of the Year for the 2022-23 season; however, not a lot of people are happy with the voting.

Banchero dominated the voting, claiming 98 of 100 first-place votes and 494 out of a possible 500 points.

Banchero, the No.1 pick in last year's draft, earned 98 out of 100 first place votes in the preferential ballot to determine the award.
