Boston has unveiled "The Embrace," a Hank Willis Thomas monument celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.

The Boston Globe and NBC have teamed up to create a new documentary about King, his wife Coretta Scott King, and their time in Boston.

Inspired by a photograph of the civil rights activists hugging each other, "The Embrace," a 22-foot-tall bronze sculpture by artist Hank Willis Thomas, will be unveiled at Boston Common on January 13.
