Following its relaunch from Tara Arts to Tara Theatre in 2021 under Artistic Director Abdul Shayek, 2022 will see the company produce shows and events locally, nationally and internationally of differing scales and on different platforms.
Wandsworth Arts Fringe is set to return with a mix of digital and live events this June. The first London arts festival to bring back live entertainment will feature over 130 events supported by the Arts Council England and Wandsworth Council. Wandsworth Arts Fringe (WAF) has partnered with circus company Lost In Translation to present the WAF Big Top, a Covid-safe main stage in King George’s Park. The fortnight of dance, music, theatre and comedy, will run from June 25 – July 11. Events include a theatre show celebrating the life of Battersea’s first Black Mayor John Archer by the Black Heroes Soul Food Café.
