i ll pass. welcome back to velshi and ruhle. soon, if you got the cash, you ll be able to vacation in space. nasa announced today that it will allow private citizens to visit the international space station. you ll have to book through a private company, and the rates are expected to be at least 35,000 bucks a night. joining me is nbc news tom costello who i m sure wants to get that assignment, no doubt. yeah, that will be in the nbc budget, i m sure, don t you think? 35 grand a night, but $50 million to get there. so the trip s 50 million bucks then 35 grand a night and that s for 30 days. so it ain t cheap, but listen, for all of us wannabe astronauts who maybe didn t make the cut, this is an exciting opportunity. nasa is opening up the space station to commercial operations
