morality of what vladimir putin has done. did he say one thing that was clear the u.s. military will not be involved more than it currently is. more than it s currently doing. obviously in polls you would see america saying, you know, we don t have any interest in getting involved in something bigger. what about that aspect of it, though? and what the president said and didn t say today. well, i mean you re right, there s no appetite for any kind of military activity at all. and especially not there. but steve is right that this is vladimir putin s sort of b minus war on eastern ukraine that he does by looking to be semidisruptive. he revs it up and says things that are putinesque that there needs to be peace in the land. president obama needs to be firmer. i hope he s doing it privately with people that can help.
