NEW ORLEANS - Warner Thomas is stepping down after a decade as CEO of the Ochsner Health System to become President and CEO of Sutter Health, a California-based hospital network

Ochsner Health said Tuesday it will have a new leader following the departure of its president and CEO since 2012, Warner Thomas, who is leaving for a position as president and CEO of Sutter Health.

Thomas, who has been Ochsner Health’s chief executive for a decade, will succeed interim Sutter Health CEO James Conforti on Dec. 1.
