Fünf Wochen vor der deutschen Bundestagswahl haben die Sozialdemokraten um Spitzenkandidat Olaf Scholz die Union aus CDU und CSU in einer Umfrage eingeholt. Im wöchentlichen Sonntagstrend des Meinungsforschungsinstituts Insa für Bild am Sonntag sackt die Union mit Kanzlerkandidat Armin Laschet (CDU) um drei Prozentpunkte auf 22 Prozent ab. Die SPD um Scholz klettert um zwei Punkte auch auf 22 Prozent. Damit liegen Union und SPD erstmals seit 2017 in einer Umfrage gleichauf.
