Less than two weeks after his wife was sentenced to nine months in prison, a Marietta man was also sentenced Monday to nine months in prison for sex crimes upon a minor.
Ryan William Seevers, 24, of 129 Shook Road, was indicted in November 2020 for rape, a first-degree felony; complicity in the commission of an offense, also a first-degree felony; and gross sexual imposition, a third-degree felony.
His wife, Lyrisha Marie Seevers, 23, of 276 Ridgewood Drive, Apt. G, Marietta, was indicted on the same charges. The pair pleaded guilty to an amended count of attempted gross sexual imposition, a fourth-degree felony.
