The three Republican members of the Washington County Election Commission have been replaced.
The Tennessee Election Commission voted earlier this week to appoint Phyllis Fox, a former administrator at Milligan University; Gary McAllister, a former Washington County commissioner; and John Abe Teague, who served as 1st District director for former Congressman Phil Roe, as Republicans on the five-member board.
They will succeed the Washington County election boardâs current Chairwoman Janet W. McKee, and Election Commissioners Patti Jarrett and Jon Ruetz.
Democratic members Margaret Davis, who currently serves as the panelâs secretary, and Charles B. Kinch Jr. will remain on the Washington County Election Commission.

Wash. Co. Commissioners to Start 2021 with Big Meeting
Garrett Giles The Washington County Commissioners will elect a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman for 2021 when they hold their first meeting of the new year. The Commissioners will then move to the Washington County Correctional Facility in Bartlesville for their annual inspection of the County Jail in accordance with Oklahoma State Statute. When the Washington County Commissioners return to their Chambers at 400 S. Johnstone Avenue, they may take action to appoint themselves to one of several Authorities, Boards, Committees, and / or Councils they serve on annually. From there, the Commissioners may approve their meeting schedule for 2021.
