The Marvel Cinematic Universe is not as it was before. The fourth episode of
WandaVision, “We Interrupt This Program” gave audiences a look at a post-Blip world, the first such look since
Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019). WandaVision s most recent episode, We Interrupt This Program, opened in shocking fashion. While Marvel fans were being blown away by the reversal of what is now referred to as The Blip, there was a major detail tossed into the dialogue. Monica Rambeau s mother, Maria Rambeau, died during the five year span where half of the universe was out of existence. Cancer took Maria s life but not before she had made a major impact on the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
WandaVision would be mind-blowing, and he wasn’t too far off with that statement. After all, “We Interrupt This Program” was a hugely exciting outing, moving away from the strange goings on in WestView and offering up some backstory as to how S.W.O.R.D. ended up there, dropping a whole bunch of reveals in the process.
