Similar pattern is expected to continue over Gujarat region for at least the next one week as the Cyclone is in the sea and is moving northward, which will continue pushing moist winds.
No heat wave in the country is being observed except in the interior parts of Andhra Pradesh. Central parts which are known for their heat are escaping heat wave and we do not expect heat wave in the next few days despite the fact that a rise in temperature is likely.
For the next few days, we can expect similar temperatures to continue over the region as no weather activity is expected. Heat wave conditions may be seen in isolated pockets as well.
In the coming days also, maximums are not likely to touch 45 degrees thus heat wave will remain away from the state. However, weather conditions will continue to remain hot.
The normal temperature for Gujarat is around 40-41 degrees during this period and for the heat wave to occur, temperatures need to be 4-5 degrees above normal levels.
