As the global Project Director (PD) you will provide vision, leadership and overall management of CRS’ Farmer to Farmer (F2F) Leader with Associates award currently being implemented in Benin, Ethiopia, Nepal, Rwanda, Timor Leste, and Uganda. The USAID funded F2F program facilitates delivery of a broad range of U.S. agricultural expertise, using U.S. volunteers who work with farmers, agricultural support systems and agribusinesses in developing countries. Volunteers work helps improve the quality of the agricultural sector workforce through training and advisory services provided to a wide range of agriculture sector actors. Your leadership, management and technical knowledge will ensure the delivery of high-quality programming and advance the position of CRS as a leading agency in the field of agriculture. Job Summary:
You will provide technical advice, guidance, and support to a wide range of program design and implementation issues with a focus on larger projects in the area of Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) in line with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) program quality principles and standards, donor guidelines, and industry best practices to regional and Country Program (CP) teams to advance the delivery of high-quality programming to the poor and vulnerable. Your technical knowledge, advice and guidance will contribute to determining how effective, adaptive and innovative CRS’ MEAL programming is across the globe.

With the launch of its Agency Strategy, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) seeks to catalyze development and humanitarian outcomes at scale. To this end, CRS is investing in six Strategic Change Platforms (SCPs) of which SCP1 is focused on
Fostering Just and Cohesive Societies. Under SCP1, social cohesion and justice are seen as force multipliers that accelerate and amplify the effectiveness and sustainability of impact across sectors. In the initial 3-year seed investment period (2020-2022), SCP1 is focusing on three main areas of activity: developing a stronger evidence base for social cohesion and justice integration; piloting integration with other SCPs; and strengthening staff and partner competencies for social cohesion and justice integration. Internal and external influence activities are also part of the initial workplan and are integral to achieving the SCP1 goal of enhancing development and humanitarian outcomes through systematic integ ration of social cohesion

CRS Sudan is as dynamic and diverse as the needs of the people we serve. Since 1978, CRS Sudan has been assisting the people of Sudan across the emergency, recovery, and development spectrum. Key sectoral areas for CRS Sudan include food security, livelihoods, nutrition, health, peacebuilding, and natural resource management. CRS Sudan has an expanding portfolio of programs crossing the emergency response and resiliency spectrum. Currently, CRS Sudan oversees programming across five Darfur states and the Red Sea.
CRS is looking towards expanding its successful Emergency Response, Recovery and peace building programs to serve the needs of protracted displaced and conflict impacted communities in Darfur. This requires careful assessment of gaps in service delivery, but also, unlocking pathways to resilient IDPs - and host communities to cope with protracted conflicts.
