The Utah Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands is hosting wildland firefighting training exercises across the state to prepare for the wildfires that they anticipate will follow the wet winter.

The airplane crashed several miles up Cottonwood Canyon Road near Durst Mountain on Sunday afternoon. It had taken off from the Morgan County Airport located in Mountain Green and was traveling to somewhere in Idaho.
