Police say shots rang out at 10:21 p.m. on Saturday outside the Infinity Convention Centre, where the victims were attending the wedding. No arrests have been made at this time.
According to Canadian media reports, police officer Tania Visintin confirmed the murder and said the police had received a call on their helpline number after Samra was shot at and immediately rushed to the spot.
