Police arrested 37-year-old Michael Johnson April 11 after they spotted him near 5th Avenue and 5th Street in Greeley, according to an affidavit for his arrest. He had a pair of felony failure to appear warrants — one for second-degree burglary and one for possession of a controlled substance.

Police arrested Agustin Rivera-Vargas March 31 after police say he shot into a neighbor’s house while shooting at a tree, according to an affidavit for his arrest. Police say they also found empty beer cans on a table near where Rivera-Vargas was shooting. Rivera-Vargas was part of a group of eight people, but told police he was the only one shooting.

Twenty-three-year-old Nicholas Roberson turned himself into police April 3, after admitting to stealing $45,020 from ATM locations at nine banks across Weld County, according to an affidavit for his arrest. The company Roberson worked for at the time — Hyosung — owned and serviced the ATMs.

Police arrested 33-year-old Juan Ayala on March 25, more than a month after the incident, according to an affidavit for his arrest. Police say Ayala tried to break into a coin machine at the car wash, and another man — whom police are still working to identify and locate — stabbed the gas station owner.

Police arrested 18-year-old Ramon Arroyo-Valdez last month with two Glock pistols and 6.2 grams of cocaine, according to an affidavit for his arrest. He faces charges of possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with a deadly weapon within reach, according to Colorado court records.

Leiyla Cepeda, 19, appeared before Judge Meghan Saleebey Tuesday morning for a status conference, her first hearing since her motion to have her case transferred to juvenile court was denied in January.
