More than 125 people attended a town hall meeting on the issue Monday in St. Charles.

“Mike Kehoe knows how to get things done and knows how to get things done in that dome building down the street,” Dan Mehan, the chamber’s president and CEO said Tuesday.

“Neither Bill Eigel nor his BILL PAC have anything to do with President Trump or his campaign,” says Trump campaign lawyer David Warrington.

Kehoe is seeking the GOP nomination. So are Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and state Sen. Bill Eigel.

A town hall meeting on radioactive waste is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at VFW Post 2866 in St. Charles.

Monarch Madness Festival will educate visitors about butterflies and other pollinators.
