St. Charles County residents got more information about radioactive exposure in Weldon Spring on Wednesday.

Officials urged Congress to pass a measure that would expand an existing nuclear radiation exposure survivor compensation program to include St. Louis-area residents.

That plant was the sister plant to the one in Weldon Spring.
