Hyderabad, April 21 : Unprecedented work pressures and social isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic may worsen loneliness and sleep problems in health-care professionals but a recent study has shown that Heartfulness Meditation can help fight loneliness and improve sleep.
The study was conducted by Jayaram Thimmapuram, Robert Pargament, Theodore Bell and Holly Schurk of the WellSpan Hospital, Department of Internal Medicine, York, PA; and Divya K. Madhusudhan of the Harvard Medical School, Department of Graduate Medical Education, Boston, MA.
Oil furnace sparked York County fire that killed 88-year-old man

The York County Coroner identified a man who died in his Jackson Township home last week when it caught fire as Walter Krout, 88.
Krout was working on an oil furnace when his home in the 6300 block of Pine Road caught fire around 11:16 a.m. on Jan. 7, according to the coroner’s office.
He attempted to put the fire out but was not able to, the coroner’s office said. Krout was pronounced dead at WellSpan Hospital in York later that evening.
Krout’s death was ruled accidental, caused by inhalation burns, according to the coroner’s office.
