Frauen-Bundesliga side Bayern Munich have agreed a deal to sign defensive midfielder Lena Oberdorf from VfL Wolfsburg ahead of the 2024-25 season.
The 22-year-old will remain with Wolfsburg until the end of this campaign, when her contract was due to expire. She has signed a deal with Bayern until 2028.
Oberdorf has made 63 Bundesliga appearances and 21 in the Women’s Champions League (UWCL) for Wolfsburg since joining from SGS Essen in 2020. The Germany international has secured a league winner’s medal, three league cup medals and appeared in two UWCL finals while at Wolfsburg.
