Drunk driver sentenced to prison in Alabama

CARROLLTON, Ala. (WTVA) - A man from Berry, Alabama, will spend time in prison for crashing into a teenager’s car while driving drunk.
Wesley Studdard, 31, pleaded guilty in Fayette County court. He received a 15-year sentence for first-degree assault.

According to District Attorney Andrew Hamlin, the crash happened on Dec. 13, 2020, on Alabama Highway 13.
Studdard’s pick-up truck crashed into the rear of a 17-year-old s stopped car.
