Gov. DeSantis signs budget bill while keeping $6 million in it for Jacksonville septic tank phaseouts sought by Mayor Curry.

There is a lot going on behind the small lemon-yellow house at 1142 Tocoi Road. Rising from the trees less than 100 feet from the backyard is an 11-foot-high, 24-foot-wide vertical skate ramp under construction by the homes owner, Brennan Gagnon, a math teacher at R.J. Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is allowed to line-item veto the budget, could still wipe out the funding.
