Fatal 1-Vehicle Crash on W Jefferson Pk

(Rutherford County, TN)  A one-vehicle crash on West Jefferson Pike took the life of a Smyrna man on Saturday (1/22/2022).  According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville driven by 34-year old Bradley Allen Anders went off the roadway. hit a culvert, went airborn for approximately 25-yards, rolled and came to rest. Interstate 840 eastbound in Rutherford County was shut down near the West Jefferson Pike exit after a single-vehicle crash, the Tennessee Department of Transportation reported.  The wreck was first reported around 7:15 a.m. Westbound traffic also experienced rubbernecking delays. The wreck was cleared around 9:45 a.m. No details on injuries or what led up to the crash were immediately available Wednesday morning.
