northern ireland and especially into scotland. we ll start sunday with some cloud, a little patchy drizzle perhaps affecting south wales and southern england. that will slowly move away. it ll brighten up. cloud will increase through wales and north west england ahead of this weather system bringing the rain eventually on into northern ireland during the afternoon with gales, too, developing. some gusts in the northern isles in excess of 60mph or so. very windy over the pennines into the afternoon and evening as well on what will be a milder day. barely any rain on this weather front as it moves south overnight and into monday. we ll see showers following into scotland with colder air, so they will be wintry in nature over the hills, gradually fading on monday. actually quite a bit of sunshine during the first half of monday. very strong winds across the far north of scotland to begin will slowly ease. cloud increasing in the west on monday. we ll start to see some further patchy rain
