Pupils from at least seven schools in Greater Manchester have already been affected by positive Covid cases just days after reopening in full.
Children, who only returned to school on Monday as part of the first stage in the easing of lockdown, are already back home remote learning after classmates or staff tested positive.
Both primaries and secondaries have been impacted across the region.

Pupils at a primary school in Greater Manchester have been sent home after a positive Covid test at their school. Parents with children in the Reception class at Westfield Community School in Wigan received a call on Tuesday morning telling them to collect them from class. The closure comes just a day after schools in England reopened to all pupils in phase one of the easing of lockdown measures.
