Earlier this month, HERE announced a large update that brings 3D models of 75 city centers across the world, with structures accurately reproduced with physical location, volume, elevation, and façade color information. Leia will provide the Lightfield Automotive Software Development Kit, while Continental will supply the display solution, with the mix eventually supposed to provide OEMs with a modern navigation experience that comes pre-loaded with the car and therefore doesn’t require other applications.
