Markets closed positively as attention turned to IT companies Q1 earnings. TCS, HCL Tech, and Wipro are set to present their results. Gainers included consumer durables, auto, healthcare, IT, capital goods, and oil & gas stocks, while banking, metal, and financials lagged.

Indian markets are expected to continue their positive trend on Wednesday, supported by favorable economic conditions and positive global cues. However, some pullbacks are possible ahead of Q1 results. Recommended stocks for intraday trading include Colgate, Wipro, Tata Steel, Cipla and others.

Indian markets ended mixed due to global trends and moderation in service PMI data. Sensex ended slightly down while Nifty 50 ended slightly up. Bank Nifty settled lower and Indias volatility index surged.

FIIs continue as net buyers for six consecutive days, while DIIs have been net sellers for three days. Sensex and Nifty 50 ended on a mixed note during Wednesdays trade.

Sensex and Nifty 50 hit record highs but gains were limited due to mixed sectoral trends. Auto and oil & gas stocks were losers, while IT and banking stocks performed well.

Indian markets will be influenced by banking stocks, foreign fund flows, global trends, auto and metal stocks, active IPOs, and stocks trading ex-dividend in the upcoming week. The Sensex and Nifty 50 ended the previous week with gains of 2.5-3%.
