Governor Whitmer’s Vacc to Normal Challenge looks to open up the state more and more as Michiganders continue to get vaccinated.
There are four milestones she hopes to reach. After reaching 55 percent of Michiganders 16 and up vaccinated, work for all sectors of business could return to in person. At 65 percent all indoor capacity limits would be lifted and at 70 percent, all gatherings and face mask orders would also be lifted.
“Once we hit 70 percent we will keep working to ensure everyone who is eligible gets vaccinated as soon as possible because the more people we vaccinated the safer we will be for the long haul,” said Whitmer. “Together we’ll get vacc to normal.”
