For the second time in four months, the fate of two men linked to the plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer are waiting for a jury to decide on their guilt or innocence.

Prosecutors say Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr. were united in an agreement to get Whitmer at her vacation home in 2020 and trigger a civil war just before the presidential election.

Barry Croft Jr. and Adam Fox are both being retried with planning to abduct the governor in 2020 after a jury failed to reach a verdict during their first trial.
