TAIPEI (The China Post) â The White House COVID-19 Response Team on Thursday deleted his previous accolade about Taiwanâs vaccine donation retweeted on July 6 by President Tsai Ing-wen (è¡è±æ).
âThank you to the U.S. for your generosity. Together, we will beat this pandemic,â the president wrote that day.
âA friend in need is a friend indeed,â KMT Chairman Johnny Chiang (æ±åè£) added, not knowing that the gentle nod would eventually be deleted because of the controversial âone Chinaâ policy.

TAIPEI (The China Post) â The White House COVID-19 Response Team on Tuesday gave an unexpected but gentle nod to Taiwan in a tweet about U.S. President Joe Bidenâs commitment to share vaccines with the world, displaying the flag of the Republic of China among other nationâs national flags.
