as for why it took us over 14 months to get them i can t answer. it has been pretty consistent for the entire investigation. i get asked all the time, mike, why isn t this finished? the answer we have been obstructed at every turn by the administration and by the democrats on our committee who have not lifted one finger to help us solve the riddle to put together a puzzle how four americans were killed on september 11th, 2012. martha: people who know hillary clinton s history know she served on the watergate committee as a young attorney. now she faces your committee. you said you think what happened here was, with the benghazi story is worse than what happened in watergate. how can you say that? yes, ma am, in. many ways it is worst. we have to remember four people were killed, folks who did not go home to their families. that s different. if you remember, martha, rosemary woods erased 18 1/2 minutes of tape. in this case we had a secretary
scotty, why isn t donald trump doing what he has done so far? and the thing about trump, he can t win. with anyone. he is quiet. he gets criticized. i think the fact he has enough nerve to have a open town hall with hundreds and thousands of people asking unscreened questions, his answer was diplomatic. that is what you say. you don t mismiss somebody. it didn t work out for mccain when he belittled different groups with his answers. i think it showed grace and respect for the people in the room. here is what happens. you know this, you know that the liberal media wants to talk about anything that takes the spotlight off the bad things
he s been counted out repeatedly and then plows on through them and his poll numbers keep going up or at least holding steady. isn t there something there that republican candidates might be able to learn from donald trump? the problem with donald trump as a candidate is that you re not going to have another candidate who s been a reality television star for 15 years before that. knock wood. and all of this translates from the fact that donald trump has been a fixture of people s television sets since 2004 when the apprentice started. they trust him. they trust the character he plays on tv. not the short tempered, hot mess guy whose stream of consciousness stuff look. at some poin, the media is going to get bored. it s always the same. it s always going to be i can negotiate with china. this isn t just him being on message.
essentially. he s going to have to answer questions about his position on univeryuuniversal health care. and he s going to have to explain to voters when he comes here why it is, in spiet of the incredible dedication that thousands of activists have to make sure that the repub llican nominee wins the white house, why isn t mr. trump willing to express that same commitment. mr. trump has every right to be in this race. he s running his campaign in his way. here in new hampshire, we re happy to welcome all of these candidates. but as this campaign continues to unfold, as this primary continues to unfold, new hampshire voters are looking for candidates who can express a depth of knowledge and details solutions for the complex problems that we face today. jennifer horn, thank you for joining us here on cnn tonight. it s a pleasure, don. thank you so much.
fighting russia? why is it always the united states. we are the policemen of the world. germany, as you know, doesn t have that military capacity that the u.s. has. they have tremendous economic power. they can crush russia. they can economic strength. they have their own interest. i know you know this. forgive me if it sounds like i m teaching the world. there s a tendency to oversimplify situations. people buy into it. there s a reason germany doesn t do it. sometimes we make it too complicated. when you are sitting at the table with iran, and you say, i m going to double the sanctions, all of your partners get up and leave. they want to do commerce. you say you are not getting a new one. the iranians say we have it. excuse me, they won t leave if i m president. they are going to respect our country and respect me.
